I am pleased to announce that my short story, Back Door, has been accepted by Dragon Soul Press and will be published in their anthology, Lost Love, in February of 2020.
When I submitted Back Door to DSP, I was unsure if it fit the brief of the anthology. It’s a romance anthology and my story is about lost love but not a romance. I was amazed when I received an acceptance email.
Lost Love is currently in the process of editing and revision and will be released towards the end of February. When the book is available, I will include information on where it can be purchased.
Happy New Year! Happy New Decade!
2019 had its ups and downs, its high times and its low times; a roller coaster ride of crazy, and the smooth sail of awesome.
Whether or not 2019 was a good year for you, I hope that 2020 is the Year of the Critical Hits for you and your families.
I’m hoping that 2020 will be a very good year for me as well. The future is bright and I’m walking towards it with my head held high.
I have some good things coming up this year, so keep an eye out for that. For now, I’m plowing ahead and working on polishing my novel, as well as working on several new short stories. My goal is to get all of them completed and into the submission phase this year. I’m also planning on updating this website a lot more, and maybe write some small stories that can be read here.
If you’re a reader, be on the lookout for more content.
If you’re a writer, keep working at it! whether your an established published author of great renown or you’re working on your very first piece, we all struggle. Just keep in mind that you’ve got this, and so long as you push through and work hard, you can finish what you’ve started.
Here’s to a great year and a new Roaring Twenties!
