I love it when you write something in that you never intended on putting into the story, but it ends up working perfectly. My two main characters are siblings, and they got into a big relationship damaging fight in the scene. I only intended for it to be a spat, but it escalated. Now that it’s written, I feel like it needed to escalate. I’ll share more about this later, I’m sure.
I have given you have the title and the genre of my novel, but I’d like to share the plot. Without further ado, the plot for Mistcraft:
Jassalyn and Rikenar Krola are angels, born of a celestial father and a human mother. But as the young siblings’ angelic manifestations begin, Jassa starts to suspect that there’s more in their blood than just celestial.
They find themselves able to draw in energetic mist and use to it alter the world around them, like a nacre, the practitioners of mistcraft, a forbidden magical art.
Could it be that the could have both celestial and nacre blood? The same dreaded combination that Brayol, the Nacre that Broke the World, had 6,000 years ago. What will Jassa and Rike do with that same power?
I need to work on my synopsis skills, so if you have any tips feel free to leave them in the comments below. But there it is. I’m excited to see where this story goes.
